Carlo Bernardini was born in Viterbo in 1966. He started out his career in the early 90s with an abstract painting that concentrated on the dialectical relationship between line and monochrome, diversified moments of representative conception of space-light.

The light, however, will be identified later with the luminescence of phosphor, through lines and veilings, creating layers of white colour, visible in two distinct and autonomous visual conditions.

Roberto Cavalli’s MINI Paceman was purposefully designed for the Life Ball, which is the biggest annual charity event dedicated to the fight against HIV and AIDS. It takes place every year in Vienna over the last 21 years. Needless to say, it is an important event that welcomes many celebrities along with their… photographers! The MINI Paceman was auctioned and the lucky buyer spent 150.000 Euros for this unique creation; the money will be offered as charity, of course, for the noble cause of fighting against AIDS.
